Author and Adventurer into History!

Kiersten hails from New England. Growing up, the battlefields of Saratoga were her backyard, tourist sites like Fort Ticonderoga were an easy day trip, and Kiersten couldn’t have cared less back then. It wasn’t until journeying into adulthood that she grew to love books, and even then, not until she became a museum educator that she discovered the
fascinating world of history.

A walking contradiction, she has a fondness for coffee by day, tea after dinner, doesn’t watch television often but late-night comedians on their YouTube channels every evening, adores cats but not their claws, the idea of dogs unless it comes to owning one, and hates the outdoors unless it involves Revolutionary War sites or kayaking.

Kiersten currently lives in Upstate New York with her family: The Husband, Useful Son, and Subsequent Son, as they are affectionately known on social media, along with her two furry children, her co-author and research assistant.
